From January 20th until January 26th Dr. Robert Thornton presents its annual Book Fair.  The book fair will be open at recess and from 12:05 until 12:30 on these dates.

Literacy Night

Welcome to Thornton Family Literacy Night 2012!

An evening dedicated to students from Kindergarten to Grade 4 to encourage and promote the love of reading.

Tuesday January 24th from 6:30 p.m. - 7:30 p.m.

• Featuring 2 special guests

• Wear your p.j.'s and bring your cozy, warm blanket and a flashlight

• Visit the Scholastic Book Fair

• Visit the library to learn about several amazing website and other literacy ideas
